Hey, my name is David

I’m a British photographer based in the French Alps, with a passion for capturing sport in all its forms. I’m drawn to the energy, atmosphere, and human stories that make each event unique, noticing what others might miss and sharing the moments that make sport feel alive.
I’ve worked closely with elite athletes at international competitions worldwide, collaborating with national federations and WorldTour cycling teams across major events. Alongside this, I manage communications for a number of international athletes, helping shape their image and digital presence.
During events, I produce live content across both video and photography, capturing key moments as they unfold and delivering fast, high-quality visuals optimised for social media, press, and team communications.
why i do this
I capture moments that cannot be recreated, the tension, the effort, the silence, and everything that disappears as quickly as it happens. In a world of generated images, I focus on what is real, lived, and human. Through my work in sport, I’ve seen how much goes unseen, especially in disciplines that receive less media attention, and that’s what I aim to document.
How I work
I take a documentary approach, observing rather than directing and letting moments unfold naturally. My experience working within teams allows me to blend into the environment, knowing when to step in and when to disappear. The goal is always to create honest images that stay true to what’s happening. I work locally and internationally, in English and French.
